This is one of the very rare 900 SE 8 Valve Turbos only produced in 1983/4. These were often described as Lux or De Lux editions but the Saab publicity at the time described them as having the Special Equipment package. In 1983 they were two tone but this became an option in 1984. This car has only had one owner who was the MD of a main Saab dealership in Sussex. The car had little use and was kept as a display item in the showroom. When he retired the owner brought the car to Devon where it was kept in his garage, again little use, the car was last taxed in 2001. This car is in mint condition, it could be one of the best in the country. The car is finished in slate blue with contrasting twin gold coachlines. The interior is beige leather. There are many period Saab extras. Louvred rear window cover, extra instruments, aircon, period phillips radio/cassette with cassette holder, front fog lamps, original US style alloys, under seat storage bins, rubber car and boot mats. The original spec includes cruise, electric sunroof, electric windows and mirrors. Just to repeat this is a genuine 52000 mile car with one owner and is in mint condition. There is a new MOT on the car and it has all the original documents.

This has been my own car for the last four years. A rare 1983 8 Valve Turbo SE, often called Lux or De Lux edition. Available in Two tone colour scheme originally and then this became an option. Only produced in limited numbers during 1983 and the first part of 1984. This car had a long term owner for about twenty years and has about £14k of invoices. Much recent work. Low mileage engine and gearbox fitted in 2000.

T16 Convertible. 175 BHP with manual gearbox. Special order Bronze metallic with a tan leather interior. Huge history file with main dealer servicing from new until 2004. Invoices and MOTs from 1994. New hood in 2004. Has had mild tuning and is very fast.

This is proberly a Wimbledon Saab Special. The car is a T16S with fully coloured bodykit and whaletail spoiler. If you look at the early SPG prototypes then this car is almost identical except for the colour. Has a red leather interior with good headlining. Dash and speedo have been replaced in the past so mileage must not be taken as accurate. Super Inca alloys fitted but can revert to standard Aero alloys. I would estimate the mileage to be more like 160000 based on some early Wimbledon Saab service history and information from the MOT computer. Everything works, many extras. New radiator, heater water valve and dump valve just fitted with full service.

Light Pressure Turbo SE with a manual 5 speed gearbox. Scarabe green metallic with a light grey leather interior. Last owner since 2000. Had a new gearbox in 2004 at a cost of over £2000. Lots of recent mechanical work, good headlining, working aircon. No rust in the usual places but cosmetics need attention.

2.3 9000 Carlsson in Talladega Red with Grey Leather. Correct wheels, seats and steering wheel etc. Main dealer servicing by Astley in Yeovil and Bishops in Taunton. Very nice car. Will be supplied fully serviced and with a new MOT. ABS pump unit replaced, new auxiliary belt and pulley, top engine mountings replaced. Period Saab audio fitted with uprated rear speakers in the original positions. This car has the potential to be returned to mint condition.
